- An alumnus wrote, The book, The Dive, is about four teenagers that get picked to go diving and marking caves. The four teenagers names are Kaz, Dante, Adriana, and Star. They sometimes get in a lot of trouble with sharks and also have different adventures. One adventure was when they found an old anchor that was stuck in coral. Dante found a coin there and showed it to Reardon and Cutter, two of the scientists on the ship. Reardon told him it was from the set of an old movie and was worthless. Dante was about to throw it overboard but Reardon stopped him and took it. The coin was worth a lot of money and Reardon knew it.
The kids find out that the coin is real and from an old spanish treasure. This book ends with the kids hearing a big BANG. They know it's Reardon and Cutter looking for the treasure but they can't find them. There are two more books to read if you want to find out more.
