  • An alumnus wrote, The story begins on the first day of school in the frog creek woods. Jack and Annie were getting ready for school when Annie saw that the tree house was back. So they went to the tree house. Their friends Teddy and Kathleen were in the tree house. Teddy told them they had to find the secret of happiness. They had to help an artist named Leonardo De Vinci all day until the night bird sings its song. So first they found Leonardo at a bird shop. First they go to the governing council because he was making a fresco. The paint would not dry so it was ruined. So Leonardo was very upset. So he left Jack and Annie. Then Jack and Annie cheered him up. Then they went to a hill so Leonardo could test his invention “The bird”. Then Leonardo fell to the ground while he was flying. He was fine, but his heart was broken because he failed again. Jack had a wand from Teddy, he waved it, and they started flying. When they were done flying Leonardo was late for painting someone. Her name was Lisa, but she would not smile. Jack and Annie got her to smile. Then there done helping him and they got back home. It was the same time as when they left so they went to school. Summary: JACK AND ANNIE are on a mission to save Merlin from his sorrows!
