• An alumnus wrote, The book is created by Gertrud Chandler Wanner. The book is a mystery. The mystery mostly takes place in a pizza place in Silver Falls. The characters are: Henry, Jessie, Violet, Benny and Mrs. and Mr. Piccolos. Now here's the story. Henry, Jessie, Violet,and Benny used to live alone in a boxcar. Now they have a home with their grandpa. They are now helping some old friends at a pizza place in Silver Falls. Their grandpa took them to the pizzeria, but when they entered the building, they didn't smell the delicious pizza. The kids wanted to help, so their grandpa drops them off at the pizza place. The kids wanted to work with the big stove but there was a gas leak! To find out more, read the book. My thoughts: I thought that the book was really good! I would tell my friends to read it!
